Buzzard Fighter

Personal project created to practice vehicle design within a well-known universe.
(Inspired by the Star Wars franchise.)

I set out to design a versatile fighter spaceship used by small, isolated rebel groups to hunt and fight remnants of the Empire following its fall.

The fighter is called "Buzzard" due to its tapered design and, most importantly, its extreme maneuverability in combat, allowing it to dive and attack like a predatory bird (see sketches).

Initially, I sketched various iterations to explore inspiration for the main shape. After that, I transitioned to Zbrush, adding functionality and narrative depth through detailed design work.
